History

In 1978, in Maracaibo, a family bet on something the country needed: a reliable supply of high-quality machinery and equipment, backed by professional service that responded to customers’ requirements. That is how the company known today as Grupo MM, C.A. was born, originally founded under the name Mauricio Martínez & Cía. S.A.

What began as a family venture became, over the years, a national reference. In 2002 we adopted our current name, Grupo MM, C.A. Today we are a company run by the third family generation, with the same values passed from parents to children for almost 50 years.

Over almost five decades, our portfolio has evolved alongside the country’s needs. At different times we also represented world-leading brands such as Link-Belt Cranes, Terex Cranes and Genie Lifting Equipment, which were part of our history and of our customers’ growth.

That is how we work: with quality, safety and reliability, and the closeness of someone who answers when needed.

Through our affiliate Grupo MM LLC we manage international procurement and logistics for customers in Venezuela and the Caribbean, making sure support arrives no matter the distance.

48 years later, our goal remains the same: to be the trusted company recognized for its track record, the brands it represents and its responsibility in delivering service.
